Episode 4
STACIE J. -- SCAPEGOAT??
JENNIFER C. -- BIG MOUTH OR JUST STUPID??
YOU BE THE JUDGE!!
Was Stacy J. a SCAPEGOAT? We have all wondered. Kevin felt that she was a scapegoat and really stuck it to Elizabeth. Then the drama continued with Jennifer M. bringing the scapegoat point home. I was certain that Elizabeth was going to have a nervous breakdown.
Jennifer C. was selected to serve as project manager of team Apex. The team did not know that Jennifer C. had a serious problem better know as DOM -- diarrhea of the mouth. She talks way more than she listens. What a shame since she is one of the few women in the game who had the gumption to stand up to Trump. Unfortunately, Jennifer C. demonstrated a blatant example of abuse of power. Within minutes of being upgraded to PM she began belittling Stacy R. for "talking too much"! Well isn't that the pot calling the kettle black! (No pun intended!)
Chris demonstrated why he will not be in contention for the apprenticeship for very long… he is a complete loser! Sorry folks, I write what you are thinking-- okay! His team training session was one of the most repulsive displays of ignorance for someone preparing to interact with the public. IS THIS GUY FOR REAL? Believe me… his number will be up soon!
Still intoxicated with her new found power, Jennifer C. missed the most important aspect of having a great restaurant… CLEANLINESS! She wasted precious time going back to the suite instead of getting intimate with the space and totally assessing the needs of the task. The decision to have the team clean the space instead of retaining a crew to do it for them was a misuse of the team's time and mental energy. Apex was at a clear disadvantage going into the most important day of the task.
The friction between Jennifer C. and Stacy R. was quite revealing as to what happens when you put two type A, loud mouth, egotistical women (like myself) in the same place at the same time. It's like mixing gasoline and fire, there is going to be an explosion.
Last season, the women were criticized for utilizing their sexuality to their advantage. Chris used the same strategy when he decided to exploit John's good looks to win over the "assumed" gay table. How pathetic! I wonder if the Mosaic team had been defeated if Carolyn would have given them the same speech that she gave us last season. (Just for the record, I don't think she would have!)
Trump welcomed Bill Rancic, season one's protégé extraordinaire to the boardroom. Clearly he was hell bent on proving himself to Trump, the candidates and well… himself! Dude, what's with the tough boy image, did you buy that in the Trump Tower gift shop? What happened to the mild mannered, kind, yet diligent Midwestern businessman that I met last September? Billy baby, don't lose yourself in Trump's world. Be yourself! Be… BILL!
Jennifer C. blamed two particular women for ruining her team's restaurant reviews… well all I have to say about that is "WAKE UP SISTER!" your team failed because of your inability to lead effectively.
It was no surprise to me that Apex failed at yet another task. Nor was I surprised that Jennifer C. was the one fired. What I was surprised at is the fact that Jennifer C. did not bring Sandy into the boardroom. From a strategic standpoint, it is best to bring in the person who may appear to be the weakest link, even if they are not the weakest link.
Otherwise DT will see right through your decision if it's based on personal feelings. One should never forget the show motto… "It's not Personal-It's Business!"
Jennifer C's firing should be a lesson for all of us. LEARN WHEN TO SHUT UP! It could save your BUTT!
