Heidi's Predictions and Observations...for Season Two Check back each week for Heidi's commentary! Episode 13 I would love to take some of the women from this season and make them watch their interviews before the show airs. Some of them, and I stress "some", did not speak so highly of the women from the first Apprentice. They claimed that they were above using "sex" to gain business and how unprofessional it was. Look at them now... short skirts, slinky tops and even stripping. Funny how they realized that using sex is not always a bad thing. I don't care what college education you have because at the end of the day sex sells. Now, last year we did not go as far as stripping off our clothes but to be honest give Ivana a break. Unless you have been in our shoes you don't realize that candidates will do anything to win. There are times in this game where you act before thinking. At least Ivana was not wearing cheesy white pumps with a jean skirt ;)... Who wears that?? Okay, enough of my ranting. Let's get to my critique. It is going to be hard to write a lengthy commentary due to the fact that there are only four candidates left and to be honest, the final four are not some of the most entertaining personalities! Mosaic: Jen and Sandy: I am combining both of you this week because I could not tell either of you apart. We really did not get to see much of the selling that went on but obviously you both did a great job. It goes to show you that it really does not matter what level of education you have for some of these tasks. Book smarts can only get you so far in this game. I have to say though, Sandy definitely outshines Jen M in many areas. She may not have the education but she has great business skills, is a true entrepreneur and she actually has a personality. Apex: Ivana: Ivana this was not your best moment but as I stated before this game can make you do crazy things. No one can understand this unless they have been a part of the Apprentice. Last year Katrina and I got criticized for our selling techniques when we negotiated for gold. At the end of the day who cares what people think. You were in a desperate situation and wanted to win. In this day I have seen a lot worse than what you did to get business. Ivana, you defended yourself to the end and left with a positive attitude. I am so happy that you did not apologize for your actions. It may have been a wacky idea but it was the only creative one Apex came up with! Kevin: I don't know why you priced the candy bars so low but the bottom line is you did not deserve to be fired. You have been consistent throughout the game and proved you are an asset to Apex. I am a little worried about you next week. You do not seem to do well when you are "meeting" with a small group of people. In this case it will be interviews! Drink lots of water and wear deodorant before interviewing next week! Kelly: You are the only one who has done a tremendous job so far. You are a great project manager and a hard working team player. In my opinion you are the best candidate I have seen so far... including last season. Let's hope you do not mess up next week. You are truly the only candidate I can root for anymore. Plus, you do not scare me anymore ;) I have to say congratulations to Kelly, Kevin, Sandy and Jen. You all have made it far in this game and worked hard to get there. Do not take my commentaries too personally. Compared to some of the other comments I have seen I am being quite the angel :) Next week is the dreaded interviews! Lets hope we do not have another "Stepford wife" on our hands. These candidates are going to have to show a lot more then a big smile and short skirt. Comments may have been edited
