So, the men were down by one task, down by one team member and just down in general. Still sour from their failed lemonade business, the men were determined to excel in the next challenge. Meanwhile, Sam and Troy returned from the Boardroom - indicating to the rest of the group that David had been eliminated. The women tried various methods to select their next Project Manager. Omarosa suggested a random method of picking a name out of a bowl; however, the others wanted to nominate and vote for someone. The majority ruled as Amy was appointed the next Project Manager. She agreed to do it, but only if the bickering within the group could stop. Of course, Ereka and Omarosa bickered about that!
The next day, the teams found out that the next business task would involve creating ad campaigns. The men quickly decided that Jason, who used to work in advertising, would make the best Project Manager. At the Deutsch agency, The Donald told them that they'd be working on a campaign for Marquis Jets - a private jet company catering to the corporate world. The winning team would be flown on a private jet to Boston for dinner. Donny Deutsch, the owner of the famed Deutsch ad agency, told the teams they'd have to create a 30-second promo, in addition to a print campaign and media plan, for the Marquis Jet Card. The jet card allows its users to buy hourly jet time. The teams would have complete access to all of the agency's resources including photographers, editors and camera crews. Donny also advised the teams to "think outside the box" and to "swing for the fences." Failure, he said, was not an option.
Amy kicked things off for the women by taking Ereka with her to visit the client and get a sense of what they were looking for in the campaign. Omarosa was not thrilled at being left out of the client meeting, but Amy was smart to separate Omarosa and Ereka. While Amy and Ereka headed to the client meeting, the other women sped off to the airport to see the actual plane and start brainstorming on the campaign. Meanwhile, Troy tried to suggest to Jason and the guys that they should meet with the client face to face and get their input. Jason, however, thought that was a waste of time. Instead, the guys tossed around ideas and seemed to spend a lot of time "researching" things. Based on a suggestion from Tammy, the women proceeded with an edgy campaign capitalizing on the phallic shape of the private jet. Omarosa was disgusted by this concept, but her concerns (which she voiced) were ignored. Back with the men Sam pitched some random Warren Buffett concept, but Jason quickly lost patience. Later, while the guys worked on various tasks, Sam was curled up on the conference room floor catching a nap. At the end of the day, both teams were confident that they'd swung for the fence and hit a home run.
