After using their faces to search for coins in pies made of duck tongue, pig stomach, fish sauce and maggots, Fear Factor couples contestants Chris Jackson and Monica Gonzales had to suck down a disgusting shake blended to a chunky consistency with the very same ingredients.
FEAR FACTOR: How was the Fear Factor pie stunt different for you?
CHRIS JACKSON: It was the first stunt I was nervous about.
MONICA GONZALES: We actually switched places that time, "cause every stunt that we go into, I'm normally the one that is nervous. I was, like, "Don't worry, I'll take the whole shake. I'll drink it."
CHRIS JACKSON: I was unbelievably happy it was a team effort, because if it was an individual, I would've went home that day. I mean, if she wasn't there, I don't think I could've finished that thing. It was nasty. I mean it will scar me for life.
FEAR FACTOR: How would you describe the smell of the shake?
CHRIS JACKSON: It was horrible. I mean, you're standin' at a table with maggots crawlin' all over, there were bees everywhere, like, tryin' to eat the maggots, I don't know what they were tryin' to do to the maggots. Then there was duck tongue, and then they blend it up right there in front of you. So you're actually fine for a second, and then, bam, it's like a baseball bat hits you upside of the head, it smells so bad. It's impossible to explain. Unless you've, like, hung around a lot of dead animals or somethin' like that, you wouldn't have a clue, because, oh, it was funky. I mean, it was funky.
MONICA GONZALES: I mean, the smell, when it was getting blended, it was just so gross. I mean, it was disgusting.
CHRIS JACKSON: Your mouth would fill up with this huge thick consistency of stuff. And then your whole head's thinkin', "Oh, yeah, it's maggots, rotten fish, and duck tongue." I was nauseous the entire night.
FEAR FACTOR: What would it take for you to do this again?
CHRIS JACKSON: I wouldn't do it again. Unless somebody said, "I will give you $10,000 dollars." Then I'd try it again. But otherwise, it wouldn't happen. No way in hell. It was funky.
