Family show contestants Tess and her daughter Morgan know better than anyone that even when worms are drenched in corn syrup they are still gross enough to make you throw up. After Morgan took a syrup shower she covered her head in red worms so that her mom Tess could pick them off and then transfer them with her mouth to a scale.
FEAR FACTOR: How bad was the smell of the red worms?
TESS: As soon as they pulled that top off of that bin, you could smell 'em. I honestly never thought worms could smell so foul.
FEAR FACTOR: What was it like having the red worms in your mouth?
TESS: It was disgusting. I threw up. It was horrible.
FEAR FACTOR: What was it like being covered in corn syrup?
MORGAN: It was drippy and sticky. There was so much syrup on my goggles, I couldn't see anything. Joe was telling me to go back, forth, left and right, and I didn't know what to do. I had a hard time finding the handle.
FEAR FACTOR: Did all the syrup on your head make it hard for you to move around?
MORGAN: Yeah. When you were moving your elbows, your skin would stick together. When you pulled it apart, it hurt, cause your hair was all sticking together.
FEAR FACTOR: What was the worst place that you found red worms after the stunt?
MORGAN: I had worms in my socks, I didn't even know about. My feet were all sticky and somehow, worms got in there.
