Congratulations to Stephen on receiving this year's honor, and we hope
to

Ashley Battel(HOST): They are the 'movers and shakers' in our favorite
soap
opera towns - the names and faces that have become synonymous with
daytime
drama, and with every powerful performance, they serve as the
ambassadors
that continue to epitomize the excellence of the medium.

Ashley Battel(HOST): It is my privilege at this time to introduce your
recipient of this year's Outstanding Lead Actor Soap Chat Viewers
Choice
Award - Peter Reckell (Bo Brady, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) - who is joining us
live
this evening to share some special moments with all of you.
*PETER RECKELL*: There's nothing better than having the audience
recognize
you like this. I just want them to know that I love them right back.
=Question=: Beth asks:
Peter, you are an outstanding actor, but your wife is an amazing artist
too.
Do you guys have a web site where we can get her music, and keep
updated on
your families' success?
*PETER RECKELL*: Yes, as a matter of fact, we do. You might have
noticed
her on the show this last Friday. She's the one who sang at the Blue
Note,
and our web sites are: http://www.peterreckell.com or
http://www.kellymoneymaker.com . The song that she sang on the show is
Bo
and Hope's new theme song. It's the bonus track on her new CD, which
can be
purchased at the web site.
=Question=: Babyfacetwins asks:
Hi Peter! Is there anyone else that you would like to come back to the
show?
*PETER RECKELL*: Kayla - my sister, Kayla. I miss her...Mary Beth is
such a
wonderful actress, and a fun spirit. We always had an interesting time
on
the set.
=Question=: Lynnette asks:
Peter, How do you feel about the current storyline? Do you feel that
if
Billie stayed more options could have been explored?
*PETER RECKELL*: The Billie character always makes things more
interesting,
but the writers tell me that the storyline that they have coming up for
Bo
is going to satisfy everybody's need for seeing the character of Bo be
more
adventurous.
=Question=: BradyLover asks:
HI Peter, I just wanted to say what an amazing actor you are, and how
much
we all love you and your work. My question is how long does it take for
you
all to record one episode of DAYS? Kisses and we love you!!!:)
*PETER RECKELL*: We get the script about a week before we tape it, and
because the show airs every weekday of the year, we must tape a show a
day.
So, in order for us to take a Christmas vacation, we must work on
Saturdays
to make up those shows.
=Question=: BroeLuvinMango asks: Hey Peter, what was it like having
your
wife guest star on the show? I really loved her song. :)
*PETER RECKELL*: Thank you! I love that song, too. We were rather
excited
and nervous about working together, but once we got on the set, it was
rather easy, and fun! I hope we get to do more work together.
