=Question=: cewcewBROE asks:
Nadia, I love your work, and think the storyline between Brady and
Chloe is
wonderful. I have to ask what is on many people's minds right now:
What is
the status of your contract negotiations with Days, and do you plan to
continue with the show? I, and many others, certainly hope so.
*NADIA BJORLIN*:
Currently, I am in contract negotiations with the
show, and
I love DAYS, and certainly want to stay. So, let's see how it goes
(laughs). I hope things can work out for all parties involved!
=Question=: deannamh15 asks:
Hi Nadia. You are an amazing actress. Every part of my acting dream you
have
pretty much lived! I'm just a little jealous. (laugh) Well, do you have
any
advice to us aspiring actresses who want to work on a soap opera?
*NADIA BJORLIN*: I think the best advice is to just keep believing in
yourself, keep the faith, and keep at it. If you really love it, and
you
put your mind to it, you can do anything in this world, if you really
want
it.
Everything in life is a process. Nothing happens overnight, and I
think
that when it comes to acting, you take classes, learn about it and the
business, and take pictures ,and find an agent. It's all baby steps,
but
there's a huge payoff. I think that advice goes well for any
career...not
letting your dreams die, and hard work, is definitely a good formula.
=Question=: kat yuppiekat asks:
The Broe/Phloe storyline has been one of the most popular in years. It
has
sparked controversy and countless magazine covers. How does it feel to
be
part of all the hoopla?
*NADIA BJORLIN*: It feels amazing, actually. I'm, first of all, very
thrilled and honored that the show, and head writers, would place so
much
faith and trust in me as an actor, and as characters, to believe in us
that
we can make this work. It's really been a beautiful thing, and a
beautiful
process. I think it's because of the chemistry that was created - that Jay and I
created, and that Kyle and I created - and from that, I think the
writers
took their own spin on things, and made the story. It's been really
fun and
interesting for all three of us to work with that, and I think we've
been
just as fascinated and have a good time as the fans with the different
storylines as well.
I also definitely want to thank the fans for their incredible support,
and
for the wonderful campaigns for Broe and Phloe. They have made it a
nationwide thing. They're the ones who really made all of that happen,
and
it made it so much more fun and exciting for us to do all of this, and
just
know that every little thing that you've done is talked about
everywhere.
We're referred to at work, the owners at NBC, as Broe and Phloe, and
know
that the campaigns that have gone on for the different couples, whether
it
be the stars in the sky, the postcards, sending champagne glasses -
there
have been some amazing things - thank you to everyone who has been
involved
with that. It always puts a huge smile on my face.
*NADIA BJORLIN*: In closing, I would like to thank everyone for voting,
and
for their love and support of the show. If they ever want to post
anything
to me, they can visit me at: http://www.nadia-bjorlin.com
