Alice Horton is the matriarch of the Horton clan and the kind, gentle woman who all of Salem turns to for advice. The love of Alice's life was the late Tom Horton, with whom she shared a happy life with their five children. Alice is famous in Salem for her delicious donuts, and she recently passed the treasured recipe down to her beloved granddaughter, Jennifer.
One of Tom and Alice's five children, Mickey Horton, also helps out the citizens of Salem-he is the town's leading defense attorney. Mickey's wife (three times over!), Maggie, owns one of Salem's hotspots, Tuscany-the perfect place for Maggie to gossip about everyone in town! Regulars at Tuscany are Doug and Julie Williams. Doug is the father of Hope Williams Brady, while Julie is Hope's stepmother and half-sister!
Hope's husband Bo, is the son of Caroline Brady (and Victor Kiriakis), who owns the Brady Pub with her husband, Shawn Brady. Shawn Brady raised (and loves) Bo as his own son.
