Conclusions: Victim died from gunshot wounds between 10pm and 1am. Victim's body was dragged to Boston Common from another location. Victim was shot at a distance of 2 or 3 feet and shooter was same height as victim.

Victim Two

Location of Body: Victim's cell in Federal Prison
Cause of death: Ruptured liver

Physical Evidence:
  • Ligature abrasions on neck from being hanged
  • Infected leg ulcers

  • Swollen wrists
  • Abdominal bruising
  • Ruptured liver
Analysis/Lab Work:
  • No ossification centers found at either end of clavicle
  • Ligature abrasions on neck bland
  • Crescent-shaped blood cells in liver

Conclusions: Lack of ossification centers at either end of clavicle indicate victim's age approximately 17. Crescent-shaped blood cells in liver reveal victim suffered from sickle cell anemia, which led to ulcers, inflammation, swelling and ruptured liver. Abdominal bruising inflicted by physical abuse, however, did not cause death. Bland ligature abrasions indicate victim was hanged postmortem.
