Name: Joshua Goodson
Gender: M   Age: 21

Location of Body: Parking Lot
Cause of death: Loss of blood

Physical Evidence:
  • Severed jugular, body impaled on fence razor wire
Analysis/Lab Work:
  • Bruising of heart
  • Tox Screen revealed 15 milli-equivalents of potassium chlorate in system

Conclusions: Victim ingested potassium chlorate, which led to high fever and delirium. In disoriented state, victim fell onto fence razor wire, severed jugular and bled out.

 

Victim Two
Name: Lois McPhearson
Gender: F   Age: 88

Location of Body: 321 Nickerson, Victim's Home
Cause of death: Natural Causes

Physical Evidence:
  • Body found face-down at scene
Analysis/Lab Work:
  • Multiple, healed fractures in arms and wrists

Conclusions: Although victim suffered repeated fractures throughout life, death determined to be by natural causes.

 

Victim Three
Name: Leland J. McPhearson
Gender: M   Age: 50's

Location of Body: Skeletal remains found under floorboard at 321 Nickerson, Victim's Home
Cause of death: Blunt force trauma to the head

Physical Evidence:
  • Skeletal remains
  • Fractured skull
  • Dried blood on garments
  • Blond hair on garments
Analysis/Lab Work:
  • Blood and hair determined not to be victim's or victim's wife

Conclusions: Victim was struck in head with heavy object and died from trauma. Victim's wife ruled out as assailant.
