Gentry Linn Miller currently works for Allergan in the eye-care division as a pharmaceutical sales territory manager. She specializes in products that slow the progression of glaucoma. She graduated from the University of Kansas, where she majored in business and minored in communication studies. Gentry also gave the commencement speech at her graduation from the University of Kansas School of Business. Gentry graduated summa cum laude and funded her entire education with scholarships and grants.
The importance of education was instilled in Gentry at an early age. At the University of Kansas, she was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, OWL Junior Honor Society, Sigma Alpha Lambda Honor Society, Mortar Board Senior Honor Society, and Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society. She was also the president of the American Business Women’s Association and a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. Gentry was awarded the Robert Herndon Scholarship at the Chandler Lecture Series, the Pi Beta Phi National Scholarship, the American Business Women’s Association Scholarship, and the Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship.
Gentry was raised by her grandmother and remains very close to her.
The first time that Gentry was on an airplane was when she traveled to compete in the MISS TEEN USA® 2006 Competition as Miss Kansas Teen USA.
Gentry loves to craft with rhinestones; her specialties are cell phone cases and dog collars.
