Brandie Kapuaalohaakaua Cazimero was born on the island of Oahu and describes her hometown as “paradise.” Brandie is of Hawaiian, Chinese, Portuguese, and Filipino descent. She prides herself on being a reflection of the various ethnicities that shape the unique Hawaiian culture.
Brandie graduated with honors from Kamehameha Schools. She now attends the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she is earning a degree in apparel product design & merchandising and minors in business administration. Brandie also loves creating specialty wedding and birthday cakes and participates in various pastry arts courses at the Culinary Institute of the Pacific in Honolulu.
Brandie appeared onscreen for “Hawaii Five-O” and “Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane.” She also made a televised appearance at the 2012 Sony Open and was a judge for Food Network’s “Iron Chef America.”
Brandie volunteers and supports various charities, including the American Heart Association, Hawaii Food Bank, and River of Life Mission. Brandie comes from a very musical family and started playing the alto saxophone in sixth grade. She toured around Europe and the U.S. with the Kamehameha Schools Color Guard & Marching Band and performed in the Rose Bowl Parade.
Brandie’s great uncles are famous Hawaiian singers. Their group is called The Brothers Cazimero.
Brandie works for Hawaiian Airlines as a flight attendant.
Brandie loves playing racquetball because it is fast-paced and serves as a good workout.
