With arms outstretched, the player must pick up yardsticks with batteries placed at the ends and balance them as they walk to a designated area, and set them down.
Tables are placed in a triangular pattern with two tables at each station.
At each station, the tables should be placed so that only 3 inches of the yardstick can rest on the edge of each of the tables.
One battery should be placed vertically 3 inches from the end of each yardstick.
The player begins with a wristband placed around both elbows, and a wristband centered in between his or her wrist and elbow on both arms.
When the clock starts, the player picks up a yardstick by bending knees and outstretching arms while placing the yardstick above the elbow wristband.
To complete the game, the player must pick up all 3 yardsticks with batteries balanced on ends (one yardstick above elbow wristband, one yardstick below elbow wristband, and one yardstick below the second wristband) and carry them simultaneously to the starting table where they must be set down with the batteries remaining balanced on ends.
