Jerry Stiller, who guest stars in an episode of Mercy on 11/4, is a familiar face to television and movie audiences. He made his stage debut off-Broadway in 1953 and has appeared in hundreds of television shows, plays, and movies. He was a memorable mainstay as on NBC's Seinfeld as George Kostanza's beleaguered father, Frank; he also enjoyed a recurring role as Arthur Spooner on The King of Queens. He has appeared in numerous films including The Ritz, Zoolander, and Hairspray. With his wife of 56 years, Anne Meara, Stiller is also half of the beloved comedy duo, Stiller and Meara. Their son is actor/writer Ben Stiller.
