As a former football jock and college football champion, Quaison "Q" Dodd is not familiar with losing. Although physical fitness is as a top priority in his life as a personal trainer, finding the right woman is even more important. Dodd is looking to settle down and start a family and is counting on his winning streak to help him find a woman with whom he has true synergy.
Dodd attended Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.
Whom did you feel most connected to during the competition?
Summer was the only woman I spent any quality time with. I got to know Cina a little on the plane ride home. We may be doing a photo shoot together soon. After learning their backgrounds, I decided to include Jason Holmes and Mike Sweet as trainers on my fitness website, HollyFIT.com. Although I didn't make a significant connection with any of the girls, I'm excited to have found two cool business partners who are as enthusiastic about fitness as I am!
What behavior surprised you the most from the other contestants?
Didn't spend much time with them.
What was your favorite challenge and why?
My team won the first competition, and then I was told I had to go home. What kind of rules are those???
What did you learn about yourself through this experience?
Even when you win, sometimes you still lose if it's up to someone else. Take control of your own destiny.
Why did you decide to take part in this show?
I moved all the way to California from Connecticut looking for love. I didn't find it where I thought I would. Why not check the jungle.
Would you call yourself an outdoorsy person? Why or why not?
I'm not an outdoorsy type of person, but I love a great adventure. If that takes place on a tropical Caribbean island, let's go!
What are you afraid of?
I'm not afraid of anything except dying young and unaccomplished.
What surprised you most about being in the jungle?
I forgot how many mosquitos would be there. My face was tore up!
What was the hardest thing for you to live without? What did you miss the most?
I missed not having any music most. Sometimes I'll hear a song that'll be my theme song for the day, week, or even the month. I love music!
What would other people say are your best qualities?
I think people would say I'm considerate and passionate.
What qualities do you find to be most important in your partner?
I really like women with ambitions beyond being first to own the new Louis V bag.
Describe your ideal date.
I really want to go to Las Vegas and take a helicopter down into the Grand Canyon and have a picnic. They have cabanas if you choose to extend your visit overnight!
