Who did you feel most connected to during the competition?
No brainer, Jess Debolt.

What behavior surprised you the most from the other contestants?
People became "a couple" ridiculously quick.

Any fun anecdotes or run-ins with nature you'd like to share?
I had fun pulling Indiana Jones moves with the hanging vines in episode one!!

What did you learn about yourself through this experience?
I can get annoyed pretty quick when people are too serious.

Why did you decide to take part in this show?
It was hard to pass up a ridiculous vacation in the Costa Rican jungle with the potential to meet an amazing girl.

Would you call yourself an outdoorsy person? Why or why not?
I am not Bear Grylls but I can handle my own. I love being in the outdoors and trying new adventures. When I traveled Europe after college I made it a point to stay in Interlaken, Switzerland. It is the extreme outdoors spot in Europe.

What is your biggest fear or phobia?
Heights!

What surprised you most about being in the jungle?
Our challenges were among the wildlife that was indigenous to the area. It's all fun in games until you're paddling down rivers where crocks live and EAT.

What was the hardest thing for you to live without? What did you miss the most?
I do like my privacy, hence why I live alone. There was not two seconds of alone time during the entire show.

What would other people say are your best qualities?
That I am very loyal and trustworthy, I am known for having a good time and pushing that on my friends!

Describe the worst date you've ever been on.
The girl got completely bombed and passed out in my car on the way back from a concert, pretty sure she put me in a headlock when the band played her favorite song during the show. I finished the date with a high five, no kiss.

What qualities do you find to be most important in your partner?
I like short, cute, classy, sweet girls. Most Texas women are great in those areas, maybe that's why I keep dating them! Witty, I love a girl who can go back and forth with me, that's huge. Spontaneous is also a must, I am big on traveling and love doing things last second. I also need a girl who can spend a day on the lake drinking beer and truly have fun. I do not want someone that takes life too serious. As far as I am concerned we are here to be successful in our own right, enjoy/love our friends and family, and push those qualities that have shaped us as adults to our children... is that too much to ask for from a partner?

Describe your ideal date.
First dates are my favorite. Drinks somewhere with a cool atmosphere. I am big fan of introducing dates to my buddies quickly. So after dinner meeting up with my friends... assuming I am into her and do not drop her off after dinner. I like to see how my date interacts with my friends, speaks volumes.

What was it like sharing a cabin with a total stranger?
It was fun! I always seem to keep things fun and drama free with girls so it was easy.
