The Alvarez family is close and share most things as a unit. Unfortunately, they also share the genetics of pre-diabetes, bad cholesterol patterns, and high body fat percentages. This puts them at risk for strokes and heart disease in the future if things don't change.

Carmen, the mom of the family, wants her husband David Sr. to have the wake-up call of a lifetime - one that may save his life and ultimately help the family get on the road to the better life and good health they can achieve together. This is a dad who is lucky to be here, and a family hoping to change their ways, together.
