All times are local to the time zone/state listed above. If attempting to vote by toll-free telephone, by online (via NBC.com, Zeebox App, NBC App or The Voice Live Facebook App), by Sprint SMS, or by iTunes outside of the voting window, your activity will not count as a vote. (See Section 2.3 re the window for the Cumulative iTunes Vote Total.) If attempting to vote by toll-free telephone or Sprint SMS, the vote window is determined by the time zone (as defined above) associated with the area code of the telephone number used when calling the toll-free telephone number or texting in to the 8642 short code. Message and data rates may apply.

In each voting period, there is a limit of: ten (10) votes per artist per originating phone number via toll-free call; ten (10) votes per artist per email address online (via NBC.com, Zeebox App, NBC App and/or The Voice Live Facebook App– note: users must have a valid Facebook account to use the Voice Live Facebook App); ten (10) votes per artist per originating phone number via Sprint SMS (text) voting; and ten (10) votes per artist per valid iTunes Account by download of up to ten (10) copies of the artist’s then-eligible song(s). For more information on "Eligible song(s)" for iTunes voting, and for information about the" iTunes Bonus" and the "Cumulative iTunes Vote Total" see Section 2.3 below. The Producer reserves the right to change the limit on the number of votes that may be made by each voting method in the Producer's sole discretion.

2. How to Vote:

2.1. Toll-free. To cast a vote using the toll-free phone numbers, simply dial the toll-free numbers displayed on screen at the end of the show relating to your artist of choice (For example, for the November 5th, November 7th, and November 12th shows, call 1-866-U LOVE-01 /1-866-856-8301 for Artist 1; for the November 19th - December 17th shows, call 1-855- VOICE-01/ 1-855-864-2301 for Artist 1). If you are calling during your valid vote window, you will hear a message thanking you for your vote. There is no cost for voting via the toll-free number if you are calling from a landline. If you are calling from a cell phone, airtime and applicable roaming charges will apply. You may only vote up to 10 times per artist per originating telephone number during each voting period. Any calls made after your 10th call for an artist will NOT be counted, regardless of the fact that the audio message may still thank you for your vote. Outside of active voting windows, you will hear a busy signal or local carrier error message, and your call will not count as a vote. A vote window is determined by the time zone (as defined above) applicable to your phone area code. Calls from payphones will be blocked, so to vote, use a standard landline or cell phone instead.

Power dialing or block voting occurs when individuals unfairly influence the outcome of the voting system by generating significant blocks of votes using technical enhancements. Producer will have in place monitoring procedures designed to prevent this type of occurrence on The Voice. If Producer believes that power-dialing or block voting attempts were made, it reserves the right in its sole discretion to remove these votes from the final tally.

2.2. Online voting. If you are 13 years of age or older, you may also vote on NBC.com, through the Zeebox App, through the NBC app or via The Voice Live Facebook App (if you have a valid Facebook account), up to 10 times per artist per email address during each voting period. (Please see Section 2.3, below, for the special voting limits and window that apply to the Cumulative iTunes Vote Total.) Log on to NBC.com (using your email address or your Facebook account),to download and open the Zeebox App or NBC app. If you wish to vote via The Voice Live Facebook App, log into your Facebook account and go to the official Voice Facebook page where you’ll find the Voice Live Facebook voting application. Note that the online voting method, with the 10 vote per artist limit, includes all voting via NBC.com, Zeebox, NBC app and The Voice Live Facebook App; in other words, you can vote 10 times per artist, total, using some or all of these forms of online voting. .

Follow the links to vote, and enter the registration details. To register, you will need to provide your e-mail address, confirm you are 13 years of age or older, and confirm your acceptance of the terms and conditions. After you have registered, enter your vote choice where prompted. You may vote online up to 10 times per artist per email address during the active online vote window. Any online vote attempts above 10 per artist per e-mail address will not be counted as valid, whether the votes occurred on NBC.com, the Zeebox App, the NBC App or The Voice Live Facebook app. Information collected from entrants is subject to the NBCUniversal Privacy Policy (www.nbc.com). Please see Section 2.3, below, for the special voting limits and window that apply to the Cumulative iTunes Vote Total.

2.3. iTunes voting, the iTunes Bonus and the Cumulative iTunes Vote Total. Each song that an artist performs in competition during an episode will be available for purchase via iTunes once the voting window opens for that episode (the "Eligible Song(s)"). To vote for an artist by purchasing the Eligible Song(s) via iTunes, you must have a valid iTunes account (see iTunes terms of service for more information). To vote for an artist during an episode’s voting period, click to download the Eligible Song(s) he or she performed in that episode. Each such purchase will count as one vote for that artist. A maximum of ten (10) downloads of an Eligible Song per artist during the voting period for that episode will count as votes for the artist who performed it. Except as set forth in this Section re the Cumulative iTunes Vote Total, downloading a song that the artist performed during a prior episode does NOT count as a vote; moreover, downloading any song identified on air as ineligible for the vote or not part of the competition does NOT count as a vote.

If any of the artists' Eligible Songs from the live performances (airing beginning November 12, 2012) are in the top 10 of the iTunes "Top 200 Singles Chart" at the close of the episode’s applicable voting window, that artist will receive an "iTunes Bonus," which multiplies the artist’s iTunes votes for that Eligible Song by ten (10). The iTunes Bonus will be added to the total number of Toll Free telephone votes, online votes and Sprint SMS votes in each week to determine which artists will advance in the competition. As explained further below, iTunes purchases of Eligible Songs from the live performances for each artist that occur outside of the episodes’ applicable voting windows will be included in the artist’s Cumulative iTunes Vote Total (defined below).

Following the broadcast of the finale performance episode, the artist receiving the highest number of total audience votes will be declared the winner of "The Voice". The audience vote consists of the cumulative number of votes received during the finale's voting window by Toll Free telephone votes, online votes and Sprint SMS votes, in addition to the "Cumulative iTunes Vote Total". The "Cumulative iTunes Vote Total" means the total number of iTunes purchases of an artist's Eligible Songs from the live performances that air commencing on November 12, 2012, and continuing through and including the finale, up to a limit of ten (10) downloads per Eligible Song, including any iTunes Bonuses (if any) previously earned by the artist. For the sake of clarity, the Cumulative iTunes Vote Total will include iTunes downloads of Eligible Songs, up to a limit of ten (10) downloads per Eligible Song, beginning at the opening of the voting window for the November 12 episode and continuing until the close of the voting window for the finale, and thus will include downloads occurring during and outside the applicable voting windows for the performance episodes airing on November 12 through December 10.

For more information on how to vote using each voting method, please refer to the FAQs section on NBC.com.
