A complaint is called into the cops about a woman, who while trying to hail a cab, throws a bottle at the car to stop it. The cops arrive to investigate and instead, the woman confesses that she was just raped. Soon after, a man comes down from his apartment and admits that he is the man she will accuse of raping her. Act One opens with Olivia in one exam room with the girl, and Stabler in another exam room with the man, who turns out to be the girl's college professor and has agreed to give a sample for testing.
