A man is found shot and raped. When Benson and Stabler try to help the victim, he disappears from the hospital. The detectives track him down and find that he does not want to cooperate with their investigation. It is later learned that the man stars in gay porn films to finance the medical bills of his daughter who suffers with cystic fibrosis. His wife is also in porn ostensibly for the same reason.
