When a violent rapist is released from prison, Stabler is convinced it won't be long before the man is back to his old tricks. Indeed, rapes fitting the man's m.o. begin to occur. The case becomes personal as Stabler stalks the man to prevent him from commiting another crime. Everything changes when the man commits suicide and the rapes continue to happen. As Stabler struggles with whether he drove the man to his death, Fin takes on the investigation once the sister of a friend from the old neighborhood becomes the latest victim.
