A cold case Stabler once worked on, resurfaces when the victim's parents come to him certain they know who killed their daughter. In an ironic twist, the man they finger is already on death row for another murder. The victim's father is dying and wants the peace of knowing once and for all, what happened to his daughter. Stabler, with the aid of the SVU psychologist George Huang, sets out to give the man the peace he's searching for by getting the killer to confess- only problem is, the man is scheduled to die in three days.
