Benson and Stabler's investigation of a serial rape case is hampered when the one victim who could identify her attacker refuses to do so. Turns out the woman is a Quaker who belongs to the same church as her assailant. She feels the man has repented his past transgressions and has turned his life around. Consequently, she refuses to aid in the detective's quest to bring the man to justice.
