Quinton Aaron

Quinton Aaron was born on August 15, 1984 in Bronx, New York City, New York. His was raised in Augusta, Georgia by his late mother, the author Laura Aaron. Quinton began to sing at an early age and from there, performed on stage in church plays.

Quinton first made his film debut as "The Lion King Guy" in Michael Gondry's "Be Kind Rewind," which also starred Mos Def and Jack Black. He also appeared in "Fighting" alongside Channing Tatum and Terrance Howard.

Quinton's first starring role came when he won the lead in "The Blind Side" as Baltimore Ravens offense tackle Michael Oher, where he co-starred with Sandra Bullock, Tim McGraw and Kathy Bates.

Quinton has since been nominated for two Black Reel Awards and a NAACP Image Award for his performance.
