As the co-host of NBC's "I'm a Celebrity...Get me Out of Here!," Damien Fahey has made a name for himself as the main host of MTV's "TRL" ("Total Request Live") who has been requested by many of today's A-list celebrities and musicians to conduct interviews. His abilities as a television personality stretch far beyond the MTV audience -- Fahey regularly co-hosted "Live! With Regis & Kelly," was tapped by David Letterman as one of the four finalists to host "The Late Show" following Craig Kilborn's departure, and is regularly called upon by major media for pop-culture commentary.
A talented and dedicated broadcast enthusiast, Fahey has hosted nationally broadcasted radio and television shows since he was 15. Fahey began working for WMAS in Massachusetts while only a freshman in high school, and by his graduation, he was already hosting his own weekend show as well as "Neils' Wheels Car Care Show," a nationally syndicated call-in program that he also produced.
While studying at Northeastern, Fahey joined the staff as a radio deejay at KISS 108, one of the most respected and powerful stations in the Northeast. During his stint, Fahey was recruited by MTV for their Beach House segments and was quickly promoted to the "TRL" cast in 2002, where he also holds the distinction of being the only veejay to ever host and write for the show.
Not content to just interview musicians, Fahey is a musician himself, playing drums in his New York City-based band, the Classic Futures. Most recently, Fahey hosted Cosmopolitan Magazine's "Star Launch," which is the publication's search for the next great female singer.
