Doyle's Apartment

"What happened back there?" Lauren asks as she and Doyle walk into his apartment after leaving the Carnival. Doyle sits down heavily at the kitchen table, propping his head in his hands. Samuel's tour shook him up, and he knows that Lauren can tell something's up.

"If something's bothering you, we can talk about it. You can be honest with me, Jason."

Doyle just stares at Lauren, thinking about everything that has happened: Meredith, Primatech, Building 26, Eric Doyle, Copy Kingdom, Jason Tyminski. Now Samuel Sullivan and his carnival.
