The Open Road
"Are you sure this is where they told us to go?" asks Gail.
"They said that if we just followed this road then we would find our own way," says Chris. He's still skeptical but they had decided to investigate what they had been told and the possibility of a safe house for his family was too good to pass up.
Jennie suddenly shoots awake from her mothers lap.
"I want a hot dog!" she yawns, "Look there's a hot dog restaurant right there!"
The car pulls up next to the restaurant, "Big Jim's Franks and Fries." It's completely boarded up and looks like no one's been here for years.
"Sorry Jennie," says Gail, "We'll have to wait till later."
They continue driving until in the distance they hear the faint sound and see the glowing lights that can only be a carnival...
