Meanwhile, at the Circus

The last text from Rebel was kind of spooky and not helpful.

ANNA: AGENTS SURROUNDING CIRCUS. FIND THE MAN IN THE BLACK HAT. HE'LL KNOW WHAT TO DO. BE CAREFUL. THIS ONE IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT. -- REBEL

There's a lot of things I didn't do as a kid. I've never had a real, American-style birthday party. (Although I'm not really sure when my birthday is, anyway.) I've never been to Disneyland or World or whatever it is. I've never owned a bike.

And I've never been to a circus. So I can tell my mouth is hanging open like a little kid right now. The funny thing is, the man doing magic tricks is the least amazing thing here. After all, the one thing that I HAVE seen a lot while growing up is "magic tricks."

He's having people pick cards and then telling them what's on them. I figure he's a mind reader. He might even know who I am and why I'm here already. But I can't talk to him about it until he's done his act.
