"I'm covered with blood. The victim is lying ten feet away. There's a pool of blood around the body, but that's not how it got all over my hands and body. I killed this person.

"It's hard to breathe. I feel like I'm choking: I'm crying. I know the victim. They were special, somehow. I fall on my knees by the body, but I can't bring myself to touch it.

"I hear a quiet noise. Sense it, really. I turn but I can't see the source. My heart is pounding: fear? More than fear. Then something bright happens.

"During all this, I can see a symbol on the wall, out of the corner of my eye. It's out-of-focus and crudely drawn. Something like a hammer, surrounded by four ... dots."
