A Primatech Interrogation Facility

All you can think about is sleep. You spent last night in the driver's seat, tailing Red Eye. The adrenaline from the battle in New York has worn off. And the observation room that you're in is dimmed. Bed sounds good.

Or maybe you just want an excuse to get out of here.

On the other side of the one-way window, Anna is strapped to a chair. Her nose is bleeding. A couple big Primatech interrogators stand over her. One of the agents raises his hand again. You look away.

"She knows more than she's telling," Jeremy Woo says. The head of Primatech Executive Service's Intelligence Division leans close to the glass, watching intently.

"Red Eye was holding her hostage," you say. "Why would he tell her anything?"

"He knows a lot about the Kill Squad," Woo says. "She may have seen something."

"Maybe she did. Maybe she's not talking because she is scared of what she saw," you say.

"Then she needs to tell us, so we can stop them."

You sigh and turn toward the door. Then you jump, startled. There's a woman in the observation room. You didn't even hear her enter.

"Hello," Angela Petrelli says.

"Ms. Petrelli," Woo says. "I had no idea you were coming."

She looks at you a long moment, then indicates Anna.

"You don't approve?" she asks you.

"Not my place to say," you say.

"Well, I think it's repulsive," she says, calmly.

"Do you want us to stop?" Woo asks, startled.

"Of course not," she says.

Angela Petrelli looks at you again. As if she recognizes you. You feel yourself wilting. You've heard the stories about this woman.

Woo clears his throat. "Head back to Red Eye's apartment," he says to you. "Take the place apart. Tim Pope is sending an agent to help you."

"Okay," you say. But Angela stops you as you pass her.

"Tell me," Angela says. "Do you keep a diary?"

What the?

"No, ma'am, I don't," you say.

"I see." She turns away.
