The Good Shepherd

This episode provided us with an opportunity to let Monroe do a little undercover detective work, something we always love to see him do. We also got to investigate the workings of another herd-based group of Wesen, similar to that of the Mellifers, or bee creatures, we got to know early last season. But whenever we have a number of Wesen together, we have to think about morphing them all and the logistics of being able to successfully achieve it both technically and financially. Our team at Bent Labs really did some great work this go-around. It was also a pleasure working with the many guest stars in this episode, especially Jonathan Scarfe (Reverend Lance B. Calvin) and Kristina Anapau who played his assistant Megan Marston.

The Hour of Death In this episode, we really wanted to play with the notion of having another Grimm coming into the picture, even if it was just an imposter. The concept initially revolved around a self-loathing Wesen, and from there, we simply expanded... More»
