Monroe manages to squelch the fight between his parents, and they leave in a huff. Nick tries to comfort Monroe, but Monroe is too worked up by the ordeal. Nick came for some insight on his serial killer, but he decides that now is probably not the best time.
In Austria, the prince discovers that there is a spy in his midst. He dispatches two agents to get Adalind, but the castle spy manages to fend off the agents and escape with Adalind. Later, in a secret hideout in the forest, Adalind goes into labor. This baby is coming whether she likes it or not!
Back in Portland, a park ranger comes across an unattended campfire in the woods. Upon further investigation, the ranger is confronted by not one but two Wildesheers, who quickly maul him to bits. Nick and Hank arrive to investigate the scene. It's a gruesome sight, but now they know that they're not dealing with a solo killer.
Monroe finds Rosalee at the Spice Shop and tells her that he wants to be with her, even if that means sacrificing his relationship with his ignorant, narrow-minded parents. Meanwhile, Juliette has been investigating the scalp murderer, and she's discovered the long history of the Wildesheer. According to the legends, the Wildesheer draw their power from their hair, which explains their penchant for scalping their warrior victims.
Monroe meets with his parents for one last chance at redemption, but when their stubbornness prevents them from compromising, he says goodbye to them one last time. After Monroe leaves, his father leaves for the airport, but Monroe's mother still wants to fix her relationship with her son, even if that means abandoning her antiquated beliefs. Monroe's father also has second thoughts on his way to the airport, but by the time he arrives to apologize to Monroe, his son has already left with Nick to battle the Wildesheer.
Monroe's mother heads to the Spice Shop, where she finds Rosalee preparing various concoctions. She explains to Rosalee that her relationship with her son is more important than her outdated values. It takes a little convincing, but eventually Rosalee agrees to cooperate with Monroe's mother.
Monroe and Nick head to the trailer to obtain some weapons for their battle against the Wesen world's most fearsome warriors. Upon exiting the trailer, they're attacked by a horde of three Wildesheers! Outnumbered by the surprise attack, Nick and Monroe put up a decent fight, but the tables are turned when Monroe's father springs from the shadows to aide in the fight. The reinforcement gives Nick the chance to scalp all three of the Wesen attackers, who die immediately upon losing their hair.
Back at Monroe's house, the two couples sit down to a nice dinner with Monroe's visiting parents. Tensions are still high, but with a little patience and understanding, Monroe might just be able to have the woman he loves and keep his parents in his life after all.
Nick and Hank continue the hunt for the Wildesheer, a vicious Wesen serial killer who only targets worthy adversaries.
