Zombie Nick is still on a ruthless rampage, but Hank and Monroe are hot on his trail. Coming upon a nearby farmhouse, Nick smashes his way inside and torments an unsuspecting family until Hank and Monroe arrive. In the ensuing fight, Hank and Monroe eventually manage to draw Nick out of the house and trap him in a barn.
Hank, Renard and Monroe battle it out with Nick, but he's too strong, even for the three of them. Luckily, Rosalee and Juliette spring to action and inject Nick with the zombie antidote, knocking him out cold. They toss an unconscious Nick into the back of an SUV and flee the scene just before the police arrive.
Meanwhile, Adalind continues Stefania's ritual ceremony in hopes of trading her unborn child to regain her Hexenbiest powers. She stuffs the mystical dead flowers into Frau Pech's corpse and sews the body shut. Later, the stitched-up wound begins to ooze a mysterious fluid. Stefania orders Adalind to bottle the goo. Reluctantly, Adalind abides.
Renard receives word from his spy that Eric has been assassinated. A special news report confirms the news: Eric's car exploded earlier in the evening. It seems that Renard has finally defeated his sinister half-brother once and for all.
The next morning, Nick wakes up with no memory of his zombie antics. When he questions the gang about what happened, they're reluctant to tell him too much. Nick is no dummy, though. He knows that something's up. Eventually, Juliette tells Nick everything. Nick feels terrible and apologizes to his friends, but there's no need. They know he wasn't in control of his actions while under Baron Samedi's spell.
Wu informs Renard that the security footage from the bar brawl was never found. It's not news to Renard, though, because he stole the tape and trashed the office as soon as he arrived on the scene. This turned out to be a clever move because Hank soon discovers that one of the victims of the bar brawl died in the hospital, which means that Nick is a murderer.
That night, Juliette realizes that Nick is still displaying signs of the Baron's spell while he's asleep. Nick wakes up feeling fine, but a concerned Juliette tells Nick to see a doctor and he reluctantly agrees. The next day, the police stop by to question Juliette.
During the conversation, Nick learns that one of the victims died in the hospital. Feeling extremely guilty, he decides to turn himself in. Hank explains to Nick that his confession will get everyone in trouble, and Renard informs him that confessing to the murder will destroy his effectiveness as a Grimm, which is exactly what Eric wanted in the first place. Reluctantly, Nick decides not to confess, but his guilt is already beginning to eat away at him.
While the gang tries to stop Zombie Nick's ruthless rampage and Renard exacts his revenge on Eric, Adalind works to restore her Hexenbiest powers.
