Two young backpackers, Dustin and Lauren, hike through the beautiful country landscape. They're abruptly interrupted by a rugged man, Delmar, who slams the butt of his shotgun into Dustin's head. He brings the two back to his drug dealer camp and interrogates his hostages. When Dustin learns that the two aren't cops, he still toys with the idea of killing his hostages. That is, until something lunges at him, dragging him into the brush. We hear choking, thrashing and the struggle of death. Dustin and Lauren see their opportunity and make a run for it.
