Friday Night Lights

It's Sunday morning and everyone's at church. After the service, Luke's father tells him he's been talking up the fact that TMU is recruiting him. Luke, not so sure any more about his prospects, asks his dad to keep it quiet. Meanwhile, Buddy tells Tami that Coach has been declared "Kingmaker" on the cover of a national high school football magazine, and he wants an autographed copy for the bar. Outside their church, Vince and Jess roughhouse with her brothers, while Vince's mom and dad talk to Jess's Aunt Bird, who's taking care of them while their dad is in Dallas. Bird says it's time for a big dinner and invites the Howards for that Friday. They accept.
