Friday Night Lights

The Lions finish up practice. Jess talks to Coach about how Baylor is staffing up for its football camp in the summer and asks him for a recommendation letter. Coach tells Jess to write up her own recommendation, put it on his desk and he'll sign it. She worries that this isn't proper, but he tells her it is and to do it. Buddy arrives at the field with a group of guys carrying coolers and folding lounge chairs. It's rivalry week and they're ready to camp out and and keep watch so that no one from West Dillon destroys the Lions' field like they did the previous year. One of the men is carrying a shotgun, which Coach absolutely insists they take back home.
