Friday Night Lights

The Lions run drills and plays. In the middle of practice, Coach pulls Vince aside and tells him to run the plays his way, because his way is the right way. Carl, the TMU scout, questions why Coach would want to "put a leash" on Vince, a "natural scrambler." Coach pokes him back, telling him he's slipping. Carl grins. Later, Vince tells Coach about meeting all the coaches at TMU. Coach Taylor asks if anyone else knows about the meeting. Vince says just his parents. Coach asks how things are going with Vince's dad, and Vince tells him they've found some middle ground. Coach Taylor suggests that Vince, Ornette and himself have a meeting after the game, and asks Vince not to tell Luke about his meeting with the TMU coaches.
