Vince watches his first TV interview with his parents, Jess, and her family. The interview is a huge deal, framing Vince as the leader of an underdog high school team with a perfect record at mid-season. Everyone is celebrating, but Jess is not pleased with Vince's cocky tone during the interview and calls him out for talking only about himself and not giving his team any credit. Vince claims the part where he talked about the team got cut. Jess doesn't believe him, and tells him so, but his dad - gloating as much as Vince - tells him not to worry about it. Vince can't help it if he's the star!
