Hastings Ruckle

Damon's career is rapidly on the rise and he has already been a part of two critically acclaimed series, NBC's "Friday Night Lights" and HBO's "True Blood." On "Friday Night Lights," Damon portrays Hastings Ruckle, an East Dillon basketball player who is recruited by Coach Taylor to be the new wide receiver.

He also had a recurring role on "True Blood" as Kitch Maynard, a star football player with a "V" problem. Up next, Damon will star opposite Skyler Samuels in "The Nine Lives of Chloe King" for ABC Family. The show is based on a popular series of books and premieres summer 2011. Other credits include guest-starring roles on "The Whole Truth," "90210," "Lincoln Heights," "10 Things I Hate About You," "Greek," and the independent film "The Devil Within."

Damon hails from Bloomington, Indiana, and was also raised in Boulder, Colorado. He caught the acting bug early and worked his first professional job in the production of "The Christmas Carol" at the Denver Center Theater in Colorado. When he's not on set, Damon spends his time on other artistic endeavors such as writing, drawing comics, sculpting, photography and writing and playing music.

He resides in Los Angeles.
