
Al Madrigal stars as Gregg, the married man who really just wants to be part of the singles crowd, in the NBC comedy "Free Agents."
The New York Times calls Madrigal's comedy "dynamic" and HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen named him Best Stand-Up Comedian. His unique, spontaneous and fast-paced, lyrical storytelling style has made him a regular favorite on television. He has been seen in numerous network series roles and starred in his own half-hour stand-up special "Comedy Central Presents: Al Madrigal."
Madrigal is a regular contributor to the Emmy Award-winning "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Comedy Central.
Madrigal's network television credits include "Welcome to the Captain" with Jeffrey Tambor and "Gary Unmarried." Additionally, Madrigal was the series lead in "The Ortegas" and starred opposite Martin Short in "Tax Man."
Madrigal's late-night television appearances include "Conan," "The Tonight Show," "Lopez Tonight," "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," "Chelsea Lately" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Madrigal has also appeared on "John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show," "Pretend Time" with Nick Swardson, "Comics Unleashed" and "3 Non Juans."
