HBO, AMC Lead Winners at 62nd Primetime Emmys, ABC and CBS Top Broadcast Networks

Modern Family takes top comedy, Mad Men repeat as top drama; Edie Falco, Jim Parsons, Kyra Sedgwick, Bryan Cranston, score lead acting honors; Temple Grandin grabs five. First-time host Jimmy Fallon brings music and high energy to the proceedings.

A mix of new comedies and veteran dramas dominated the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday night, while HBO monopolized the statuettes for movies and miniseries.

ABC's Modern Family led all series programs with three Emmy wins, including outstanding comedy. It also won for supporting actor Eric Stonestreet and writers Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd for their pilot episode script.

"All I wanted to be was a clown in the circus when I was a kid growing up," Stonestreet said. He vowed to ship the award to his the home of his parents, Vince and Jamey, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Fox's Glee, which led all series with 19 nominations, won Emmys for supporting actress Jane Lynch and director Ryan Murphy. Murphy dedicated his Emmy "to all my teachers who taught me to sing and fingerpaint." Lynch praised fellow cast members: "You're fresh-faced, and when I'm not seething with jealousy, I'm so proud of you."

On the drama side, AMC's Mad Men won its third consecutive Emmy for outstanding series. It won a second Emmy for writing, which went to series creator Matthew Weiner and Erin Levy for the episode titled, "Shut the Door. Have a Seat."

AMC picked up two more Emmys with acting wins by Bryan Cranston (lead actor) and Aaron Paul (supporting actor) in Breaking Bad. With its four Emmys, AMC led all broadcasters in the series categories.

Emmy prognosticators were caught off-stride by wins by Kyra Sedgwick of TNT's The Closer and Bravo's Top Chef.

Top Chef won for outstanding reality competition program, breaking the streak held by CBS' The Amazing Race, which captured the Emmy in each of the last seven years. "This is something we never expected," exulted executive producer Dan Cutforth. "I really have nothing prepared at all to say."

Sedgwick took home an Emmy for outstanding lead actress in a drama series after being nominated in the category the last five years.

Other series winners for comedy were Jim Parsons for lead actor in CBS' The Big Bang Theory and Edie Falco for lead actress in Showtime's Nurse Jackie.

In the drama category, Archie Panjabi was honored for supporting actress in CBS' The Good Wife and Steve Shill took the directing Emmy for Showtime's Dexter.

HBO, which traditionally dominates Emmy awards for longform programs, this year won all eight Emmys in the genre.

Temple Grandin, the story of a woman who overcame autism to pioneer humane treatment for cattle, received five Emmys, including outstanding made-for-television movie. Claire Danes was selected for her performance as Grandin and Julia Ormond and David Strathairn won for their supporting roles. Mick Jackson received an Emmy for directing the film.

Jackson hailed Grandin in the audience. "I tried to make your movie like you: spunky, smart, honest, vivid, sometimes crazily emotional, never sentimental."

You Don't Know Jack, about Dr. Jack Kevorkian, a controversial proponent of assisted suicide for terminal patients, earned Emmys for lead actor Al Pacino and writer Adam Mazer. The Pacific, a 10-part opus about World War II combat in the Pacific theater, won for outstanding miniseries.

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, on Comedy Central, won for outstanding variety, music or comedy for the eighth consecutive year.

Jimmy Fallon, host of the telecast, eschewed the usual opening monologue in favor of taped pieces that focused on several shows that led the list of Emmy nominations. In the opening piece, Fallon put together a 10-person singing group that included Betty White, Jon Hamm, Kate Gosselin, Tina Fey and several Glee cast members.

In another taped piece, a network executive suggested alternative approaches to Modern Family, several of them including George Clooney, who was awarded the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award for his charitable efforts on behalf of natural disaster victims in Haiti, New Orleans, Darfur and elsewhere.

This year's "In Memoriam" segment featured a performance by Jewel, who sang "Shape of You," a song she wrote for a friend who passed away. The accompanying video included clips of many television figures who died since last year's Emmys, including performers Jimmy Dean, Gary Coleman, Rue McClanahan, Dixie Carter, Pernell Roberts, Lynn Redgrave, Lena Horne and Dennis Hopper, and producer David L. Wolper.

In all, broadcast networks claimed nine Emmys on the night, and cable collected 17.

Between the Primetime Emmys and the Creative Arts Emmys ceremony, held on August 21, HBO led all cable networks with 25 Emmys, followed by ABC, the top broadcast network, with 18.

Emmy night is finally here! I'm at the Nokia Theatre and it's buzzing with activity! Some stars arrived early and will be skipping the red carpet because they have to rehearse. Tina Fey, Betty White and Mariska Hargitay were doing the rounds early. I'll be heading over to my post on the red carpet where NBC.com will be streaming LIVE from 4pm PT /7pm ET until 5pm PT/8pm ET. We're the only red carpet outlet streaming line online, so definitely check it out!

Back to the glamour and excitement. There are fan bleachers set up where lucky fans get to see all the stars from the best seats outside. And one lucky fan actually won her seat on NBC.com through Fan It! It's always funny to me that there is a main red carpet that all your favorite television stars stroll down and then there is a roped off adjacent red carpet for "non-talent". Those, like me, who are not remotely famous but have tickets to the show have to stay on their side of the velvet ropes and are constantly reminded not to keep moving!

Once you go inside the theatre there is a cash bar and they even have snacks, just like if you went to a concert or sporting event. It's wild to be standing in a drink line behind Jon Hamm or Julianna Margulies! Once the event begins, the bar remains popular during the three-hour show, but you are only allowed back into your seat during commercial breaks so you have to time it right.

I hear that tonight Jimmy's has some surprises planned with lots of help from his famous friends. The fact that anyone can tweet about a presenter and possibly have Jimmy read it during the show is further proof that he is modernizing the broadcast for the digital age. All hail Jimmy! And the Creative Arts Emmy goes to...

NBC.com! Yes, I'd like to brag just for a moment because NBC.com won an Emmy at this past weekend's Creative Arts ceremony. The Late Night with Jimmy Fallon website was recognized for Outstanding Achievement in Interactive Experience! Yay team!

The Creative Arts ceremony honors those who work behind the scenes, with a few exceptions. Categories such as Outstanding Hairstyling or Outstanding Sound Mixing are awarded along with Outstanding Guest Star and various other categories. Betty White and Ann Margret won statues for their outstanding guest star duties on SNL and SVU respectively. For the men, John Lithgow was honored for his recent turn as a serial killer on Dexter while Neil Patrick Harris took home an Emmy for his guest shot on Glee.

It was an exciting and glamorous night, which made me that much more excited for the Primetime Emmys this Sunday! Remember, you can watch the live stream from the red carpet and backstage right here on NBC.com!

HBO Tops 2010 Creative Arts Emmys, ABC Leads Broadcast Networks, Show Airs August 27 on E!

HBO TOPS 2010 CREATIVE ARTS EMMYS, ABC LEADS BROADCAST NETWORKS, SHOW AIRS AUGUST 27 ON E!

HBO's The Pacific leads multiple winners with seven statuettes, ABC's Disney Prep and Landing takes four.

HBO topped the list of winners at the 2010 Creative Arts Emmy Awards with 17 golden statuettes, followed by ABC with 15.

Leading the recipients of multiple awards was HBO's World War II epic The Pacific, with seven Emmys. The 10-part miniseries led all Emmy nominees this year with 24.

The ceremony was held at NOKIA theatre L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles. The event will air as a two-hour special on Friday, August 27, at 1:00 p.m. (ET/PT), on E! Entertainment Television.

Instead of a single host, the show was guided by a series of presenting pairs made up of stars and show-runners from more than a dozen television programs of today -- and one influential classic, Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In.

In the order of their appearance they were: Jane Lynch and Ryan Murphy (Glee), John Lithgow and Clyde Phillips (Dexter), Christina Hendricks and Matthew Weiner (Mad Men), Stana Katic and Andrew Marlowe (Castle), Mel B and Conrad Green (Dancing with the Stars), Neil Patrick Harris and Adam Shankman (The 82nd Annual Academy Awards), Mary Lynn Rajskub and Joel Surnow (24), Erika Christensen and Seth Green (Robot Chicken), Elizabeth Mitchell and Damon Lindelof (Lost), Vanessa Williams and Marc Cherry (Desperate Housewives), Anna Gunn and Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad), Jake Harris, Josh Harris and Thom Beers (Deadliest Catch), Andy Samberg and Seth Meyers (Saturday Night Live), Terry Jones, Bill Jones and Ben Timlett (Monty Python: Almost The Truth), Bonnie Blair and Don Mischer (Opening Ceremonies for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games), Lily Tomlin and George Schlatter (Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In), Rico Rodriguez and Steven Levitan (Modern Family) and Jillian Michaels and Mark Koops (The Biggest Loser).

The majority of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which honor excellence in more than 70 categories, are dedicated to key technical disciplines and behind-the-scenes crafts essential to television production -- including art direction, cinematography, hairstyling, makeup, music, picture editing, sound editing and mixing, special visual effects, stunts and more.

Awards are also handed out for animation, commercials, reality series and other programming, as well as four acting categories. Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series went to Ann-Margret for NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit; Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series went to Betty White for NBC's Saturday Night Live; Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series went to John Lithgow for Showtime's Dexter; and Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series went to Neil Patrick Harris for Fox's Glee.

This year, there were two recipients of the prestigious Governors Award, which is given annually to individuals or organizations committed to important social causes: one to Ad Council, creator of numerous groundbreaking public-service announcements, and one to Norman Brokaw, chairman emeritus of William Morris Endeavor Entertainment.

Another special Emmy, the Syd Cassyd Founders Award, was bestowed for only the tenth ever, this time to longtime Television Academy senior vice president of awards, John Leverence.

Outstanding Children's Program went to Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie, a feature-length version of the popular comedy series about a New York family with supernatural powers. Outstanding Children's Nonfiction Program was "The Face of Courage: Kids Living with Cancer," an installment of Nickelodeon's Nick News with Linda Ellerbee.

This marked the sixth Emmy -- and third in a row -- for Nick News with Linda Ellerbee, which won last year for the episode titled "Coming Home: When Parents Return from War."

ABC's Disney Prep & Landing, an animated holiday special about two elves who prepare the way for Santa Claus was named Outstanding Animated Program.

Outstanding Short Form Animated Program went to Cartoon Network's Robot Chicken.

Outstanding Reality Program was presented to Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution, in which British chef Jamie Oliver went to a West Virginia town with the mission of improving its citizens' diet and nutrition.

The winner for Outstanding Commercial was "The Man Your Man Could Smell Like," a spot for Old Spice Body Wash starring Former NFL wide receiver Isaiah Mustafa. The production company was MJZ, and for the second consecutive year the advertising agency was Wieden + Kennedy.

For the third consecutive year, the winner for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program was Jeff Probst of Survivor.

Outstanding Nonfiction Special was won by the HBO production Teddy: In His Own Words, about former Massachusetts Senator Edward Kennedy, who died almost a year ago to the day, August 25, 2009.

Outstanding Nonfiction Series went to PBS's The National Parks: America's Best Idea, produced by iconic documentarian Ken Burns. The series also received the award for Outstanding Writing for Nonfiction Programming, which went to Dayton Duncan.

Exceptional Merit in Nonfiction Filmmaking went to another PBS production, Nerakhoon (The Betrayal), about the members of a Laotian family forced to leave their homeland due to the secret war waged there by the U.S.

Outstanding Directing for Nonfiction Programming went to Barak Goodman for still another PBS production, My Lai.

Comedy Central's The Colbert Report took the prize for Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Special, and Outstanding Directing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Special went to Don Roy King for the episode of Saturday Night Live hosted by Betty White.

"The Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Digital Experience" from the NBC.com, won the award for Outstanding Achievement in Interactive Media -- Fiction for the second consecutive year. In addition, Outstanding Achievement in Interactive Media -- Nonfiction went to "Star Wars: Uncut," from StarWarsUncut.com.

The 63rd Annual Tony Awards telecast was named Outstanding Special Class Program, with Emmys going to Executive Producers Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss, and to host Neil Patrick Harris. The award made it two Emmys on the night for Harris, who earned the Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series award for his performance in Glee as a disgruntled former member of McKinley High's glee club whose return to the school years later threatens to end the group.

At the Primetime Emmys on August 29, Harris will have a chance to make it three Emmys this year when he vies for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for CBS' How I Met Your Mother.

In the other acting categories, White earned her fifth career Emmy for an array of performances as host of the June 8, 2010, episode of SNL.

Lithgow was honored for his Dexter performance as Arthur Mitchell, a seemingly benign family man who is actually a notorious serial killer known as the "Trinity Killer" for his pattern of murdering in threes. The award was the fifth career Emmy for Lithgow. He previously won three Emmys for 3rd Rock from the Sun and one for Amazing Stories.

In her guest role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Ann-Margret played an alcoholic, drug-addicted hoarder who may hold information crucial to a case. The award was the first Emmy for Ann-Margret, who was nominated five times before.

This marked four consecutive years that Law & Order: Special Victims Unit was honored in this category. Ann-Margret followed Ellen Burstyn, who took the Emmy last year, Cynthia Nixon, who won in 2008, and Leslie Caron, who prevailed in 2007.

The winner for Outstanding Voice Over Performance was Anne Hathaway, for the role of Princess Penelope in the episode of The Simpsons titled "Once Upon a Time in Springfield."

Joining The Pacific among programs with multiple wins were Disney Prep & Landing with four, Modern Family, Saturday Night Live and The 25th Anniversary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Concert with three; 24, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Dancing with the Stars, Generator Rex, Glee, Mad Men, Return to Cranford (Masterpiece), So You Think You Can Dance, Survivor, Temple Grandin, The National Parks: America's Best Idea, The Simpsons, The Tudors and Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games Opening Ceremony with two each.

Rounding out the night's winners after HBO's 17 Emmys and ABC's 15 were Fox with nine; CBS, NBC and PBS with seven; Showtime with five; Cartoon Network with four; AMC and Discovery with two; and A&E, Comedy Central, Disney Channel, History, NBC.com, Nickelodeon, StarWarsUncut.com, USA and VEVO.com with one each.

This year's executive producers were Steve Venezia, chair of the Creative Arts Awards Committee, and vice chairs Frank Scherma and Mark Watters. The producer -- for the 16th time -- was Spike Jones, Jr. Chris Donovan directed the show.

The Primetime Emmy Awards telecast, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, will air live coast-to-coast on NBC on Sunday, August 29 (5-8 p.m. PT, 8-11 p.m. ET), from NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles. The executive producer is Don Mischer

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA, August 16, 2010 - Primetime Emmy® Award nominees January Jones, Julianna Margulies, Matthew Morrison and Sofia Vergara along with Ricky Gervais and John Krasinski are the first group of presenters announced for the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards. The telecast will be broadcast live coast-to-coast from the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles on SUNDAY, AUGUST 29 (5:00pm PT / 8pm ET) on NBC.

RICKY GERVAIS is the creator/executive producer of "The Office" and HBO/BBC's "EXTRAS". He is the winner of two Primetime Emmys, three Golden Globes and seven BAFTAS. He is also the only guest star of "The Simpsons" to also write an episode and holds the Guinness Book of Records for having the most downloaded internet show of all time. A 13-part animated series based on his record-breaking podcasts, debuted on HBO in January 2010 and has been nominated for an Emmy. In 2010, Gervais was named one of Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People In The World and was awarded the 'Sir Peter Ustinov Comedy Award' from the Banff World Television Festival. Also in 2010, Gervais became the first to host The Golden Globes in15 years and will return as host in 2011.

JANUARY JONES stars as Betty Draper on the Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award- winning AMC series "Mad Men." She recently earned her first Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series" and her work on "Mad Men" also garnered her a 2009 and 2010 Golden Globe nomination for "Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Drama." In 2011 January will be seen starring in two films, the first "Unknown White Male" for Warner Bros. opposite Liam Neeson and then in "The Hungry Rabbit Jumps" opposite Nicolas Cage.

JOHN KRASINSKI is perhaps best known for his portrayal of 'Jim Halpert' on NBC's hit comedy "The Office," which returns for its seventh season on September 23rd. He recently completed production on "Something Borrowed," in which he stars opposite Ginnifer Goodwin and Kate Hudson and is set to begin production on "Everybody Loves Whales" opposite Drew Barrymore. Most recently Krasinski was seen starring alongside Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin in Nancy Meyers' "It's Complicated" and he starred opposite Maya Rudolph in the comedy "Away We Go," directed by Sam Mendes. Also a gifted writer, Krasinski adapted the David Foster Wallace book "Brief Interviews with Hideous Men" and directed his adaptation in an independently financed feature. The film was released by IFC in 2009.

JULIANNA MARGULIES is an Emmy, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild award winner, who has achieved success in television, theatre, and film. Margulies can currently be seen in the CBS hit "The Good Wife," in a role which has recently garnered her a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award. In film, Margulies was last seen in "City Island," co-starring Andy Garcia, Alan Arkin, and Emily Mortimer. The film won the Audience Award at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival. She was one of the original members of the groundbreaking show "ER" for which she received both an Emmy Award and SAG Award as nurse Carol Hathaway. Margulies made her Broadway debut in 2006 starring in "Festen" and she completed a successful run in Jon Robin Baitz's "Ten Unknowns" at Lincoln Center opposite Donald Sutherland for which she won the Lucille Lortel Award.

MATTHEW MORRISON is a triple-threat who recently garnered Emmy and Golden Globe award nominations for his role as Will Schuester, an optimistic high school teacher who tries to refuel his own passion while reinventing the high school's glee club on the breakout series "Glee." Morrison's big break came when he was cast as heartthrob Link Larkin in the Broadway hit "Hairspray." He subsequently received a Tony Award nomination for his role in "The Light in the Piazza" and a Drama Desk Award nomination for "10 Million Miles." Most recently, Morrison starred in the Tony-winning revival of "South Pacific" at Lincoln Center Theater in New York. His film credits include "Dan in Real Life," "I Think I Love My Wife" and "Music and Lyrics." Morrison is currently in the studio working on his debut solo album for Mercury Records.

SOFIA VERGARA is the only Hispanic actress who started her career in a U.S. Hispanic Network and successfully crossed over to the general market. She has conquered the world of television with an Emmy nomination for her work on ABC's "Modern Family" as well as made a mark in the world of film in the upcoming movies "The Smurfs" and "Happy Feet 2". With a list of credits most actors only dream of, Sofia is sure to be a lasting success in Hollywood.

Only three more weeks until the Primetime Emmys on NBC! In two weeks, the Creative Arts ceremony will celebrate (among other things) awards in interactive categories. Fingers crossed that one of NBC.com's three nominees takes home the gold lady!

Have you checked out some of the cool videos we've been shooting? We covered the Governors Ball preview, to give you an inside look at the menu and, more importantly, the cocktails, that will be served at both ceremonies this year. Our team also traveled to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in downtown Los Angeles to showcase some of the Emmy nominated costume designers. No one even attempted to answer my trivia question regarding which male and female performers hold the records of individual nominations! Ed Asner holds the record for male performer with the most wins, with seven Emmys to his credit. And Cloris Leachman, most recently seen on The Tonight Show's "Cop & Kitty" sketch as an uncredited cat lady, has topped the female category with eight wins (followed closely by her former co-star Mary Tyler Moore who has had seven wins herself). In case you are curious, Frasier still holds the record for individual series wins with a record 37 Emmys!

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - July 8, 2010 - The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences today announced nominations for its 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards and NBC walked away with 48. NBC Universal's Universal Media Studios scored big, leading all television production companies with 50 nominations.

Leading the charge is NBC's highly honored, 14-time Emmy-winning comedy series "30 Rock," which again flexed its Emmy muscle by garnering 15 nominations including it fourth-consecutive nod in the Outstanding Comedy Series category. The critically acclaimed series holds the distinction of winning the coveted Outstanding Comedy Series Emmy for the past three years and also stands as the TV Academy's all-time, single awards year nomination record holder for a comedy series with last year's tally of 22. The show's 2008 haul of seven statuettes earned "30 Rock" a place in the comedy series record books tying the previous record holder, "All in the Family," which set the record in 1972.

"30 Rock's" tally is spearheaded by Alec Baldwin, winner for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for the past two years, who was again nominated for his role as Jack Donaghy. This is the ninth overall Emmy nomination for the Oscar-nominated actor ("The Cooler") and the fourth for his work on "30 Rock." Tina Fey, a 16-time Emmy nominee with seven wins including five for "30 Rock" (Executive Producer, 2007; Writing, 2008; Executive Producer, 2008; Lead Actress, 2008; Executive Producer, 2009), has also picked up another nomination for Lead Actress for her role as Liz Lemon. Further, she is nominated for a guest-starring role hosting an episode of "Saturday Night Live." Jane Krakowski was also nominated for her Supporting Actress role on "30 Rock."

In Outstanding Guest Star categories, 2007 "30 Rock" guest actress winner Elaine Stritch is in the running again in that category. Other "30 Rock" Guest Star nominees include Jon Hamm and Will Arnett. Tina Fey and Betty White grabbed Guest Actress nominations for their roles on "SNL." On the drama side, Ann-Margret was nominated for her guest-starring role on "Law & Order: SVU."

Emmy voters also turned out in force for other Universal Media Studios programs that gathered a combined industry-leading 50 nominations and once again proclaimed the production company the leader among all television studios. Besides "30 Rock," another Universal Media Studios contender resonating favorably with TV Academy voters is previous Outstanding Comedy Series winner "The Office" (2006) which scored with four nominations including another series nod. That brings to 35 its career total with four wins. This year's nominations include seven-time nominee Steve Carell (five for acting, two for producing) who will compete in the Lead Actor category again. The series also picked up a writing nomination as well as a sound mixing nom.

Other Universal Media Studios highlights include 25-time Emmy winning "Saturday Night Live" which set a new TV Academy nomination record for most nominations for any program. "Parks and Recreation" leading actress Amy Poehler, a two-time nominee in a supporting role on "SNL" (2008, 2009), picked up her first nomination in a Lead Actress role.

NBC Sports was nominated for four Primetime Emmy Awards for its coverage of the Opening Ceremony of the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games. The nominations were for Directing, Lighting Direction, Musical Direction and Outstanding Special Class Programs.

In the interactive category, NBC Universal rang up four nominations including three for NBC.com for "The Biggest Loser Digital Experience" (Interactive Media - Nonfiction), "The Jimmy Fallon Digital Experience" (Interactive Media - Nonfiction) and "30 Rock: Webisodes" (Outstanding | Programs). The Nominations Are In

First I have to congratulate ALL the nominees. It's a very exciting day for everyone who worked on the nominated shows and nominated digital experiences (myself and NBC.com included!) The main show category nominees were announced early this morning and included both current favorites (The Office, 30 Rock, Lost, True Blood) and some exciting newcomers (Modern Family, Nurse Jackie, Breaking Bad and Glee).

For this morning, though, I'd like to especially congratulate Connie Britton, Kyle Chandler and the entire cast and crew of Friday Night Lights. Yes, it's an NBC show. But it's a well-written, well-performed, well-executed drama that until now has gotten very little recognition at the Emmys. With four nominations this year, the fourth in Outstanding Casting, the show has clearly gotten the attention of voters after years of having the attention and devotion of hardcore fans. I would've liked to have seen a Supporting Actor nod for Zach Gilford's emotional portrayal of former QB #1 Matt Saracen, especially after his work in this season's episode entitled "The Son."
