We caught up with Christie Clark about the exciting return of her character, Carrie Brady, to Days of our Lives. Read the full interview below!
Days Insider: What did you miss most about being on DAYS?
Christie Clark: Acting, hair, wardrobe, all the fun stuff we get to do while on set! Haha!
Days Insider: How (if at all) do you feel your character has changed since we last saw her?
Christie Clark: Stronger and complete - everything is going well for her, and she knows who she is.
Days Insider: Whom are you most excited about working with again?
Christie Clark: Patrick! I missed working with him, especially with our history of playing Carrie and Austin. But, of course, I am also glad to be back with all my co-stars as well.
Days Insider: What is your favorite storyline from the past?
Christie Clark: When I was playing an extra on a movie and set the whole set on fire!
Days Insider: Will the return to Salem push Austin and Carrie into conflict?
Christie Clark: Absolutely! They are definitely going to fight to stay together!
Days Insider: Are there any plans for Carrie and Austin to have a baby?
Christie Clark: I sure hope so; I'd love to play that part!
Days Insider: Will half-sisters Sami and Carrie be able to put aside their differences and reconcile?
Christie Clark: Yes, I think so; I really hope that they do. I'd like for them to be very close.
Days Insider: What challenges did you face portraying Carrie as a hard-hitting lawyer?
Christie Clark: I think it was knowing that I could do that. I definitely had to go and character study; I shadowed a friend of mine who is an attorney to prep for that. It was interesting for me to play that role seeing as how it is so far from my true personality.
