Like I promised, let's talk my favorite products!
In my real life, I love to use a lot of GloMinerals mineral makeup. It's easy and very clean and soothing to the skin. It also contains a natural sunscreen... who doesn't love that?! For my foundation, I like their pressed base foundation. It's essentially just a pressed powder compact. You use a big fluffy kabuki-like brush to lightly brush it on your skin. Super easy, not messy, and takes about a minute. You can't really mess up. It layers on very subtly and stays put ALL day!
They make liquid foundations as well, but I find it easier to just brush a powder onto my skin... I like their blushes as well, but I do have to say I always come back to using NARS blush. I have a couple favorite colors: Amour and Orgasm. Hmmm... fantastic, but I can't take credit for the names.
As for eye shadow, I still think MAC makes the best. Someone is welcome to prove me wrong. They have an insane palette of colors, and I'll ask Glen, my oh-so-charming and fabulous makeup artist at work, what he prefers to use on Chloe. A couple of my favorite colors will always be Cranberry, Sketch, and Charcoal... I also love MAC eye pencils. The pigments are really strong and last longer than I'd like sometimes! It stays with me through showers and soap! The power pencils are the best!
Here's a question I've gotten a lot: What type of mascara do you use? Well, I've tried a million different brands, and I keep going back to my Tarte mascara called Lights, Camera, Lashes! Love the name too... the brush is awesome, and the formula doesn't dry out quickly... a frustrating side effect of many mascaras. It's also almost all natural. You can find Tarte at Sephora. And no, I do NOT use fake lashes, though I'd encourage anyone to use them if they felt the need... I'll ask Glen to teach you.
