With Father's Day on the horizon, I thought what a great time it would be to ask some of the real life fathers of "Days of our Lives" questions about their big day, starting with Eric Martsolf. Brady Black may not play a father on the show, but in real life, Eric is the father of twin boys!
Days Insider: What's been your most memorable Father's Day?
Eric: That would have to be my very first Father's Day. Having never really known if I would be a dad, I simply was in shock that I was included in the actual holiday.
Days Insider: What's the best Father's Day advice you have ever received?
Eric: Don't sweat the small stuff. I still work very hard on that one!
Days Insider: How has fatherhood changed you throughout the years?
Eric: I'm a shadow of my former self. I define myself through them, not work or success. They've never asked to see my resume. My sense of tolerance is also extremely heightened!
Days Insider: Do you have any Father's Day traditions in your household?
Eric: Everyone has to be really nice to me!!
Days Insider: Any famous television or movie father you would compare your parenting styling to?
Eric: Robin Williams in "Mrs. Doubtfire." I'm the dad putting chopsticks up his nose to get a cheap laugh from my boys.
