Well, I'm still in recovery mode after getting quite the workout at last Sunday's Habitat for Humanity Women Empowerment Build for the San Fernando/Santa Clarita Valleys of North Los Angeles Chapter. The entire event was filled with hammering, lifting, piling and more hammering. I was part of Team Days at the event, with Arianne Zucker as our fearless leader.

Arianne wasn't the only woman from Days of our Lives to get her hands dirty by helping with the build. Nadia Bjorlin, Molly Burnett, Judi Evans and Crystal Chappell also put in long hours of manual labor.

Before we were actually put to work, Team Days did a walkthrough of a home that had just been completed on the property. We realized the impact these homes have on the community and we all came together for a good cause.
In the end, with all of our hard work hammering, framing, measuring and sandbagging, we helped save Habitat for Humanity $44,000. It was a great day, despite the sore muscles and dirty clothes afterwards.

Now, what do you think the odds are of getting Jay Kenneth Johnson to give me a back massage?
