Happy Mother's Day!

To all of the moms out there reading the blog, I want to wish you a very Happy Mother's Day this weekend.

This week, Eric Martsolf, Judi Evans, Molly Burnett and Mark Hapka share with you some of their favorite Mother's Day memories. Eric was sweet enough to include a photo of the mother of his twin boys, his wife! Molly included a fun photo from her and Casey's double dates with their moms. I hope you enjoy!

Days Insider: What has been your most memorable Mother's Day?

Molly: Any Mother's Day that I get to spend with my mom is the most memorable.

Eric: My wife's first Mother's Day, undoubtedly. It felt surreal that this crazy dancer who I met a decade ago had actually become a mother of twin boys!

Mark: I have yet to be a mother L

Judi: After my son, Austin was born; being his mother on Mother's Day was a monumental moment for me.

Days Insider: Has your mother ever given you any advice growing up?

Molly: Don't listen to anyone that tells you "no." And to put my shoulders down when I have a beautiful dress on.

Mark: It was never direct advice, but a trait of hers that I've always tried to follow... is to put everyone before myself. She has done this subconsciously for at least as long as I have been alive. There's nothing more pure in my eyes, and for me it never fails, to be followed with a strong sense of elation.

Judi: Always be true to yourself. Don't worry what others think of you. Be yourself and be honorable and people will either like you or they won't. Don't sweat it!

Days Insider: Does your mother watch Days of our Lives and offer any feedback?

Molly: OMG! She is obsessed now! She watches it every night at dinner with my dad and is always trying to get storyline.

Eric: My mom watches religiously and gives me numerous critiques weekly. I appreciate it because I can always count on her to be a straight shooter!

Mark: My mom watches religiously now that I'm on the show! All of my parents watch - my mother, stepdad, my father, stepmom and they are undoubtedly my biggest fans!

Judi: My mother watched the show when she was alive. She always said positive things and especially liked it when there was something I did or a particular way I looked reminded her of her mother (my grandmother).

Days Insider: Do you have any Mother's Day traditions?

Molly: Last year, I gushed over her on NBC.com and I'm doing it again, this year, it's become my new tradition! J

Eric: This is important... be incredibly attentive and present on that day! This is not a great day to schedule golf!

Mark: I try to shower my mom with more love than I usually do. This takes some effort!

Judi: My son, Austin and my husband, Michael usually make a scrumptious breakfast and make sure I don't lift a finger the rest of the day!

Days Insider: Do you have a favorite memory of you and your mom?

Molly: My mom took me to my first musical so I can thank her for igniting the acting bug!

Eric: My mom and I have similar sense of humor. Our belly laugh sessions are historic and I look forward to sharing stories with her all the time as a result.

Mark: Many, but one tends to stick out that we always have a good laugh about. I was (still am) what we call ADD and more than often, I would get a little out of control as a kid... I mean REALLY give my mother a run for her money. She was always very patient and very against zombie medication so she refused to let me take Ritalin. I challenged her one time in a True Value parking lot, arrogantly thinking she wouldn't do anything about it. To my surprise, she rose to the occasion, and swiftly took my ass down to the ground like a ninja. She held me there, smiled, and said, "Don't mess with your mother!" I wish I could say I learned from that experience, but it's something neither of us forgot!

Judi: There are so many! It's more than a special memory- I have a special feeling whenever I think of her. We were so close and spent so much time together and laughed so much together. Thinking of her makes me feel warm and peaceful.
