I, Abe Carver, seek to continue to govern Salem with the integrity and commitment that our fine city deserves. I earned the name "Honest Abe" for a reason: my unfailing loyalty to the town of Salem. Are you ready to risk it all on a candidate like EJ DiMera who has proven time and again to be unstable and unreliable?

I'm running for mayor because I believe the government works for the people. And I, Abe Carver, am a man of the people. With falling tax revenues, we face tough choices, and those choices should be in the hands of a man you can trust.

I truly believe that Salem University is at the heart of rebuilding our community and making Salem a better place for our children. I plan to construct new campus buildings for Salem University, which will set in motion a number of promising initiatives. With these new buildings, we have the opportunity to increase student enrollment, and bring in more professors to the school. This, in turn, will increase our tax base and allow local business to thrive.

Remember that with "Honest Abe" you know what you're getting: a trustworthy mayor who has proven that he can get the job done.

People of Salem,

I, EJ DiMera, will be the first to admit that my family name is often the subject of public scrutiny. But like the residents of Salem, at the heart of me is an honest family man and long-time Salem resident. I'm not a candidate who will sit back and watch the town of Salem lose its way; I'm here to give us the jump-start we need to thrive in a struggling economy.

I come from the world of business, and because of that, I come armed with knowledge that my opponent simply does not possess. With that knowledge, I intend to spark much needed economic change. No more deficits, no more debt, no more mortgaging our children's futures because of our spending addiction. I plan to use my business expertise to eliminate Salem's debt and put the residents of Salem at ease. It's time to take control of the future.

In addition, I plan to revamp Salem's overtly corrupt police department. It's time that justice is brought down on criminals such as John Black, who have a complete disregard for the well-being of Salem's residents. I intend to be tough on criminals where it's due, and help keep the streets of Salem a safer place.

While the DiMera name is known far and wide, I hope that the people of Salem see beyond the name for what I truly am: an honest family man and long-time Salem resident, ready to tackle the hard-hitting issues head-on.
