EJ convinces a grief-stricken (and partially sedated) Nicole to finally acknowledge that he was the father of her child. He then leaves without Nicole realizing he has recorded her admission. Meanwhile, Rafe and Sami are about to finally make love - but Rafe puts the brakes on, weighed down by his lie about being the father of Nicole's now-deceased baby. Sami confirms her belief in Rafe.
