Will confronts EJ about not being a DiMera. He's found the document and knows the truth. Will knows what this information could do if it got out. EJ is no longer Stefano's heir. If Will went to the police with this, EJ would be finished. EJ asks if Will really thinks he killed Stefano. Will says it doesn't matter. The police do, and this will give them a strong motive.
