John and Hope open the Anastasia egg and discover a golden coin which has a code engraved into it. They try to break the code but are unsuccessful. They decide to keep the coin as insurance in case Stefano tries to double-cross them. In its place, John creates a replica coin. They call Stefano to the hotel, where he inspects the egg. Satisfied, he allows "The Pawn" and "Princess Gina" to run off and live happily ever after. John and Hope rush to the airport where they anxiously await a flight to Salem.
